MOMS Club is Service Projects
We are a service organization and proud of it. Our service projects come second only to meeting the needs of our individual members as mothers of young children. While we never intend to overwhelm moms we do hope our unique role in serving our community will be appealing to new members. This is one very specific way we distinguish ourselves from many other meetup groups and moms groups. We are more than just a play date opportunity.
We complete many service projects each year, utilizing member generosity as well as monies local businesses pay to advertise in our monthly newsletter. We hope you feel, as we do, that teaching our children about serving others is a valuable part of raising our little ones. Though it can be difficult to involve the children in the actual service, we do what we can to make it a learning experience for them.
Past Service projects have included;
- Park beautification
- Toiletry drive for homeless
- School supply drive
- Gifts for teens in foster care
- Project night night, blankets, books, and stuffed animals for homeless children.
